Aubrey Taylor has dedicated his life to service. Raised in a family of healthcare workers and first responders, the values of dedication, compassion, and community responsibility were instilled early. At 16, Aubrey began his public service journey as a volunteer with the Hopewell Emergency Crew, earning his First Responder Certification and eventually advancing to Chief Operations Officer while maintaining certification as an EMT-Intermediate.
After serving as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army, Aubrey returned home to serve with the Hopewell Sheriff’s Office. At 31, he transitioned into the fire service full-time, continuing to volunteer with the Jefferson Park Volunteer Fire Department in Prince George County. Over nearly three decades, he served at Fort Gregg-Adams (formerly Fort Lee), Fort Walker (formerly Fort AP Hill), Naval Air Station Lemoore, and the Military Ocean Terminal in Concord, California, gaining extensive leadership experience and a deep understanding of how to support people in their most critical moments.
In 2020, while still working full-time fire shifts, Aubrey was introduced to the opportunity to serve families in another capacity—by helping them protect their income, eliminate debt, and build long-term financial security. He obtained his license and went to work part-time, balancing a demanding 48-on / 48-off firefighter schedule with meeting clients and building a team. With mentorship and collaboration, he quickly learned what he now teaches others: you are in business for yourself, but never by yourself.
Aubrey officially retired from the federal fire service on December 31, 2024, transitioning fully into financial services. Since then, he has completed national conferences, leadership trainings, and advanced certifications in Debt-Free Life strategies, Indexed Universal Life, Infinite Banking, and annuities. He has been recognized with multiple agency achievements, including the Slingo Agency Spirit Lifter Award and the Purdy Agency 5K Week Recognition.
Today, Aubrey brings the same commitment he demonstrated in the fire service to helping individuals and families secure their financial futures. His mission remains the same: serve, protect, and empower—just in a new uniform.
